  1. Shark Ion Robot RV725 Review. This vacuum robot comes with a scheduling remote. The autonomous vacuum cleaner is sleek and small. The lightweight disc shaped cleaner is small enough to clean under most furniture. Users can schedule a cleaning routine, once per day or more frequently depending on how dusty the floors may get. The Shark Ion Robot Vacuum can clean the floors, dock to the charging port on its own and get recharged without any human intervention.

Most Shark Ion Robot reviews, from customers and experts, have highlighted that the vacuum can effectively clean up dust and hair among other finer materials. The brush roll can capture allergens too. The self cleaning feature makes it all the more interesting. The robot is capable of navigating obstacles and traps. The docking and recharging feature is handy. It works like a breeze. You are unlikely to find the robot stuck somewhere or stationed someplace other than the docking and charging port. The remote is easy to use. Scheduling is convenient. The lithium ion battery is reliable. The robot can run longer than an hour, cleaning entire rooms and even floors.

Many homeowners will be compelled to pit Shark Ion Robot vs. Roomba. There are similarities and differences. Roomba is slightly larger and heavier than Shark Ion Robot. The filters in Shark Ion Robot are superior. They are HEPA rated filters. Shark relies on navigation powered by smart sensors. There are two brushes on the sides of the Ion. Roomba has one. Roomba takes less time for the battery to be completely recharged but that is not exactly a shortcoming for the Ion. The recharging is autonomous so you need not worry about the time taken by the device.

Shark Ion Robot Vacuum RV725 has the ability to clean itself. You need not clean it every day. The vacuum does have to be emptied once in a while. This shall depend on how frequently you use it and the quantum of debris the robot amasses during its missions. You are unlikely to have a clogged brush roll in the Ion, something that is quite common in other vacuums that cannot clean itself.

The Smart Sensor Navigation of Shark has been tested by innumerable people and it is unquestionably reliable. The robot will successfully avoid obstacles, deal with carpets and stay off edges along the stairs. The robot can clean along edges and easily attend to the tricky corners. There are proximity sensors that help the robot to adapt to its surrounding. The brushes rely on dual spin to effectively extract debris from edges and corners. The dustbin easily detaches at the side and you can empty it when necessary. Else, just schedule the cleaning session and let the robot do its job every day or night.

The Shark Ion Robot RV725 review includes its price. It is presently selling for under two hundred and fifty dollars. You may get a discount too. Check the warranty when you buy. The manufacturer provides a warranty and the seller may have a satisfaction guarantee.

  2. Like some other reviewers I was skeptical, the mop feature tipped the scales. I’ll preface this review with the fact that there are 2 adults, 2 dogs, and 2 young children in the house. The biggest culprit being the German Shepherd who loses hair so fast that it’s hard to believe he isn’t bald and I am a bit of a clean freak, really! ROBBIE which is his name, runs around cleaning floors in the entire house, even under beds and in closets. I don’t have Robbie set up to clean on a schedule but run him manually with the android app regularly 3 to 4 times a week after I get home from work. He only mops on weekends unless someone makes a mess. I do empty the collector bin after each days cleaning, remember the dog? After the weekend’s workout he gets a clean filter, bin cleaning, and a once over check out to ensure sensors & brushes are clean. The whole process takes maybe 10 minutes.

After starting to use Robbie I noticed almost immediately the back pain relief. The doctors say vacuuming is the worst thing for your back & I’m a believer now. It used to be that after a regular day of vacuuming and mopping my back hurt so bad I had a hard time taking in a breath. Now Robbie does the heavy lifting. I let him vacuum then pick up the rugs to run the mop feature. With all the Christmas decorations out he didn’t get to come out for a few weeks and was unplugged for 2 days while I waxed the hardwoods which lost connection to the wifi. It wasn’t a big deal to reconnect and as I post this review, he’s cleaning the hardwoods. I have no complaints aside from virtual wall settings but for now I just block his path to the carpeted areas. I do hope for an app update sometime soon.

Make sure to keep cords up and out of the path. I check each room and under the kids beds for obvious reason. I wouldn’t blindly vacuum & wouldn’t expect Robbie to either. Besides how clean is it if there’s crap laying around? Well worth the investment and I brag about my guy every chance I get.

  3. I never write reviews! However, I researched robot vacuums for over a month and it was a hard decision because the reviews seemed to all be mediocre to bad. I am enjoying my Neato robot vacuum so much!!!! I love coming home to clean floors and the vacuum lines in the carpet! The app is great and while I’m at work it sends me updates when he’s done cleaning and a map of where he’s cleaned. He’s such a smart little bot! Yes, the dust bin could be larger but I have him clean 3x a week or more so now the dust bin doesn’t get full. He has no trouble climbing onto rugs or high front door mats. He’s not the quietest on turbo but I’d rather know he’s powerful! I love this tool! I have 2 dogs so it’s nice to have him suck up the dog hair while I’m at work! I hope this helps!
